This is my first time here....i dont know what too doo....ive feel far behind on my payments on my student loan. I signed a paper for a forborance or w/e it is. but im scared and i dont know what too do. i cant come up with the sum of money they want from me. Any suggestion?!?!?!?

I have major debt problems. Actually about $60,000.00 worth fo them. I have around $38,000.00 in private student loan debt. My payment for this is around $350 a month and will take 20 years to pay off. I also have around $7500 in government student loan debt. I owe nearly $12000 on my car, $7500 on credit cards, and owe $2700 on a personal loan. The major reason for all this debt was because i got layed off fromm my previous job. I decided to go back to school( a two year tech school). At the time i was living with my parents and soon after starting school my parents got our house repo'd.

7 years now, id like to re establish my credit, how can it still hurt my fico score? When i first filed it, they didnt talk about fico scores. they told me after 7 years i shouldn't have any problems getting loans. i have a new job, but id like to get cc. Any suggestions? Thanks

I just had some guy call me and say his name was Mike Tank. He said that my loan payment bounced at my bank and it's considered a bad check. He said I could take care of this with a credit or debit card. When I asked him he represents, he proceeded to tell me that I have a bad check I have to take care of. I told him that I wanted validation of the debt and who he was representing. Nothing. Then I told him that I am using BHR and he said he doesn't talk to credit counseling folks.

Has anyone ever heard of First (1st) Equity Investments?

Just a few questions. I am trying to clean up my credit right now and was wondering how long after I have paid something off that is stays on my credit report. Also, if a debt has been sold to a collection agency, can the original company that the debt was with still remain on my report? If no, how do I get that removed?
