Are they suppose to leave a long detailed message about my account on a answering service. Where is the privacy?

Every consolidation service I speak with advises to let my credit cards go into deliquency and collection so they can negotiated my payoff. However, they destroy my credit in the process and put me at risk of possible legal action against me. All I want is a consolidation loan, so I can consolidate my monthly payments into one and lower my interst rates. Does anyone offer this anymore?

"Interstate Collections" is located somewhere in Jacksonville, Flordia. Also, the same switchboard operator who use to work for Ted, at Ellis Crosby & Associates, is now working at Interstate. Weird ain't it? Phone number: 866-225-4872 Hopefully no one has to deal with them, as many are starting to get threatening calls from them. It's also possible that they are called something else, but I was told by another forum member that they are "Interstate".

my employer got a wage assignment from tremont financial. they said they filed judgement but it doesnt look right. how much does my employer have to send each pay? they are telling me 10% of my gross wages. I dont believe this is correct. I am in Pennsylvania.

My company very carefully monitors and deducts for court ordered wage assignments however we keep receiving a demand for payment from Sonic Payday and it is not a court order. There is a document with a digital signature attached from our employee We tell them we wont deduct without a court oder - what is our legal responsibility? I don't want to become a bank - its not a court order the employee should just pay his own bill correc?

I am in the process of clearing up my credit. I cannot pay off the original amount but however I am looking into the possible settlement option. Will this boost up my credit scores? Will this effect my chances to obtaining a mortgage at a reasonable rate? :D

My husband and I are in the process of clearing up old debt that was acquired before we got married. I have been receiving calls on my cell phone from a collection agency LTD Financial Services. I spoke with an representative and provided the correct phone number to contact my husband. This happen on 11/20/05. On 11/21/05 my husband received two phone calls on his cells regards this debt. My husband spoke with the representative and establish a payment arrangement on 11/20/05 when they called my cell phone. He provided our home number.
