I was reading through the fine print and there was a blurb about the IRS may consider consolidation as taxable income and you may receive a 1099. Is this true? Can anyone go into detail?

OK, I guess i'm getting confused by this one. If a OC referrs an account to a CA, and you don't pay it, then they send it to another and another, and they all report it, once the accoount goes on to another agency do they then loose their "right" or authorization to collect it, basically loose their "ownership" of the account? At that point do they then have to remove any negative reports as they no longer are authorized to colect onthe account?

Please help! I have a pay day loan with Sonic Payday Ltd which was due on 10/14/05. I was not able to pay my loan due to an unexpected hardship that arised. I've always been a 'good customer' of Sonic. I have loaned with them 8 different times - it is only now, my 9th loan that I have defaulted. I tried to work out a payment arrangement with them but they refused.I kept in touch with them to show my good faith.
