I have 35,000.00 dollars in credit card debt. The interest is very high and I'am not getting it payed down. I have considered some of the options,example: to negotiate myself,credit counsling,professional negotiations,401K loan,debt consolidation. What is the best way?

welp, its 9:00 saturday morning, I am awoken by the sounds of my husband saying theres a sheriff at the front door with a warrant for me. am a dreaming? who could it be? I search my brain real quick for who it could possibly be. :roll: Thinking that it surely had to be from this one company--it wasn't. Its from a lawyer from GE money bank--aka Sams Club card. someone that I have been mailing money to for the past seven months(sams club). The original letter stating that if they cashed my good faith check, we had an agreement, and they cashed it).

Does anyone have addresses and fax numbers for either of these companies?

Has anyone every had a loan with this payday lender,and if so do they work with you if you are having trouble paying off.I still have 3 payday loans and two of them have said they would work with me,but I have not heard back form this company yet.I think they also go by cashdirectexpress,Cashdirectnow and GECC.I decided that unless I tried to work out payments,I would never get out of this payday loan cyle. I am fixing to default on my loans. I cant pay them anymore. I don't know what i should do. Will they immediately send them to collection? Will they contact me first? WIll they try to keep calling me at work? Call my references and supervisors? Anyone know how i should handle this? Should i let them know im going to default and then try and see if they can work with me. I really don't want them calling my work and i just simply can't keep up with them anymore. I have seen here that they can call over and over again. WHat should i do? Please assist with any information you can. Thanks.

Has anyone heard of AMO Recoveries in Norcross, GA? According to the BBB they have an unsatisfactory record. I received an AMO debt collection notice for $32.02 on a credit card and all the letter states is that AMO Recoveries has been informed that the account is past due, and DO YOU INTEND ON PAYING THIS DEBT? Their address is 7067 W Broward Blvd. Suite C Plantation, Florida 33317. I think a debt validation letter is in order. If anyone has heard of AMO Recoveries, please let me know.

My total credit card debt is 24000.00 and I have never been late and don't have collectors calling me but I want to try to consolidate these into one payment with a good rate could you advise me how to go about this? I have a house but no equity in it. Thanks
