What should I do to remove incorrect entries from my CR!

I had a paid CA on my EX listed twice (1 with correct acct #, 1 w/a incorrect #, CA said they don't know what that # is) and its on my TU w/ the wrong acct #. I disputed them. came back updated. I called them and said I dispute it for a 2nd time and need them to delete the duplicate. BUT, i dispute the one with the correct acct # and they deleted it. Now, I have it listed on my EX and TU with an incorrect acct #.

 

Can disability check be garnished for default student loans

My brother has a few default student loans. In 1999 he met an accident and got some physical disability. He earns disability check now. Can the loan holder withdraw money from his Disability check? Since he is not completely disable; we cannot apply for loan discharge. But cant bear the amount at this moment. Please suggest.

If a CA responds with a debt validation and their fees are shown. Are you required to pay their fees as well, or should that be covered already in the selling process from the debtor? How do you validate what is a good fee?

when your debt is in "illegal status" what does that mean and why do some companies not let you consolidate when your status is illegal...i don't get it...don't they still want your money? :?:

Hello, I've been reading as much as I can on the forums here for a couple of weeks. And I have some questions about what goes on after I fill out the registration on the main page and talk to a counsler. I've read a few post where the person stated that after they started the consolidation process and stopped making payments directly to the CC companies that their credit rating went way down. Why is this? Arn't the payments going to the CC companies? And how come the CC companies still seem to call asking for payments? Thanks
