alpha processing...crosby and ellis

19 years 10 months ago
Does anyone know the 1-800# for alpha processing. I just got off the phone with crosby...and i finally got the original creditor from mr. patrick o'neal....after he told me there was nothing he could do since it had already been "sent upstairs"...wanted to know if i had anything to say that he could document. I asked him which one, and he stated "which one? How many do you have? Are you a habitual fraud?" I said no, i can't pay someone if i don't know who they are. Told him not to call my work again, or i would consider that harrassment...and he said harrassment?

Global Vantege/ RCS Center Corp.

19 years 10 months ago
Has anyone dealt with Globalvantege? They won't tell me anything about the co. when I call-- they are the second coll acy to handle my AMEX debt-- tried to settle with the first, NCI, but they sent my check back when I noted it as "full and final settlement", and refused to agree that I had no further responsibility to them or AMEX.

Collectcorp collection agency - Are they known for FDCPA violation?

19 years 10 months ago
Hi all, I have been having an ongoing issue with this agency. It started with my AmEx account being misused. Someone somehow used my account in PA while I was here in Texas. If I'd know of this earlier I am sure it could have been settled. But because this was a card I used only twice (at most), I'd forgotten it existed. Also, the statements were going to my old residence, another reason I had no idea. When I moved back to my home city, I was given a ton of old mail and noticed the charge. By this time, the account had been sent to Collectcorp collections.

Creditors requesting that I set up check by phone - guide me

19 years 10 months ago
I have contacted my creditors and they are willing to work with me and put me on a plan i can afford. They are requiring that I set up check by phone for the first 3 payments before I will be able to make payments myself. Is this an OK plan, or should I push for sending the payments in myself. Additionally, what should I ask for in this negotiation, they have dropped my interest rates to .99% and are accepting very small payments for 12 months.

Collection agency wont accept payments

19 years 10 months ago
a collection agency that has taken over an account from a credit card will not work with me in any way. I owe them $4300. They have demanded at least 10 percent down and then $300 a month after that. I have offered to pay about $100 a month because that is all I can afford to work things out with other creditors. When I spoke with the original creditor, they said that once it went out to a collection agency they couldn't do anything. Who should i try to work with in this situation?

Before New Orleans overcomes the strain that Katrina caused, another threat is knocking there. Hurricane Rita has already collected enormous strength and moving towards southern coast of Florida. Forecasters are saying that if the storm follows the predicted route, it will batter west of New Orleans before Friday evening. Even if it does bypass New Orleans, heavy rainstorm can cause huge flood there. The tide has started to surge additional four to six feet in the Florida Keys. Residents of Louisiana, Texas, Key West and other coastal towns have been asked for voluntary evacuation.
