I have a credit card with capital one. Charged around $700 3 years ago, have paid back more than $700 so far making min. payments. I got behind the last 3 months and they got a judement against me friday (I go to court and dispute it, was 7-8 hrs. away). The court clerk advised me to call capital one and set up payment arrangements, or else they could garnish my wages (all they have to leave you is $125 out of you pay). Anyway, I called capital one and she told me the lowest they could go was $340/month!!!!!!!!! Siad I owe $1900+.

To anyone that comes across this company, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM! They were right up there with Ellis Crosby on the level of harassment and slander. They called my work, threatened me, threatened my bosses, etc. Now I got an email from my HR rep this morning... says Sonic contacted her and now she and payroll have a lien against me. A total of nearly $700 that I DO NOT owe will be deducted from my next paycheck. So I contacted her, explained to her their antics and reputation.

After cleaning up your credit report after some not so perfect credit, when is it a good time to try for a pre paid credit card to help re build credit?

I had paid a charged off debt to Arrow Financial. I did payment through website with my American Express card. I did do this in a panic and didn't get any paperwork/agreement etc etc. Now I just need to make sure that my credit report gets this charge off shown as paid in full. Should I contact Arrow Financial (The credit agency involved) or go directly through the CRA's? I am also assuming having the Amex Bill with the payment will probablly help me if needed as well?

I have this on my credit report from a delinquet account from back in 2000 I ordered some diney children books for my daughter and they ket it on my credit.I also have this bill that I just got from this place called turtle magazineand I don't remember suscribing to this magazine or even getting it and now they are sending me a bill!Well how do I dispute this does anyone know? need help badly with this issue
