Can someone please help me. I know others have asked for help and they have been asked to list the payday loan companies, the amount borrowed & paid back so I am doing so. I would like to find out which of these companies are legal in michigan. Can anyone help/advise? I talked to my bank about closing my account and plan to email the companies with a letter, but need to know if they are truly "illegal." I want to pay back all amounts borrowed, but have already paid over to some companies with interest payments I've made.

i have been paying a law firm that has my lowes account for 4ooo , 100 a month which was a arrangment made over the phone for 3 months they said that after 3 months that i would have to pay 200 a pay and sent a letter stating that they would no longer accept the 100, which i told them i could not make the 200 when i was paying the 100 if i send them a letter telling them that all that i can pay is the 100 a month and do send that amount in can they still get a judgment agaisnt me and oir freeze my bank account

At my two year make and want to buy a new house. Credit score is around 660-670( kind of high ). Problem is 1) mortgage company not reporting mortgage to credit bureau, but shows current, not include in Ch7, and never late with lender. Question is can I get a new FHA loan? 2) Was told, if Ch7 is not an issue, then the loan would have to be at or below 75% of the original loan amount with an appresal to support if. Is this true? Will I be able to get new loan? BOA will not reaffirm morgage and theater who I am trying to get a mortgage with.

I am seriously considering debt settlement. One of my main concerns is that after enrolling in the program can the credit card companies still sue me or garnish my wages? Also do you have to put all of your unsecured debt into the program offered or can you choose the ones you want. Thanks kate819

Got a message on my voicemail last week for my husband from Mike Peters with Legal Outsource. Number on caller ID says 855-350-5498, but the number left to call back on was different. This person said that my husband needed to call him regarding a serious business matter before it was escalated to legal [department]. He ended the call by saying "this is your notification". SUUUURE, buddy, that's legal as hell. :rolleyes: WTF? Yes, I know this is a scam. No I won't be calling back, picking up the phone or giving them any money.

zwicker and assoc called my cell phone and begane asking questions regarding my husband. They asked for ss# and date of birth and then said she must have the wrong person. I begane receiving calls from the same number only to find out that they are trying to collect on one of debts. I had the debt before I married my husband, can they collect from him since I was tricked into providing or varifying his information? I realized after the call that I should never have given the information over the phone but, I was ill that day and wasn't thinking.

My account was originally with Capital One. it was charged off my account is 4 yrs old. I contacted them to make settlement to get this off my credit report they say i owe $932.00 Capital One Charge it off at $706.00,but my limit was$300.00.I call them offered the $300.00 to get rid of this they turned if down an countered $560.00.when i asked questioned she got smart with me.
