Once a credtior turns a debt for collection by a debt collector, Can he contact the consumer for payment while the consumer and debt collector are in communications to settle the case? In my case the credtior new bill is lower then what the debt collector is asking. Can I terminate contact with the debt collector and deal with consumer?

I am about to have my ch 13 bankruptcy dismissed but I would still like to continue paying the companies but in another program. I have already caught up with my mortgage and my car is paid off, so I no longer need bankruptcy protection; but instead of filing chap 7 on the remaining bills, I would like to continue paying them. Can I come to you all? The amount of them is about $15,632 and they encompass about 20 creditors - some range as little as $40 and another as $5100.

These people are rediculous. They are pretending to be police from the federal side of things and threatening me with arrest warrants for federal fraud and it gets worse. I want to know what kind of leagal recourse i have on these guys. Thanks.

Does your company deal with payday loans? I have 4 internet payday loans and I'm drowning. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
