Could someone PLEASE tell me what this company is zapping from our accounts under? I am looking for the name used when processing ACH debits and credits. It is OBVIOUSLY not Platinum, and since I too am in the process of filing my report with the Florida State Attorney's office regarding Ellis Crosby, I need to know what name I'm looking for on my statement so I can show the original loan and all payments. Last night I arrived home and had a message on my answering machine from Zwicker and Associates. I called them back and they informed me that I had a past due balance on a credit card from 2002 for over $1000.00 I've had only one credit card in my life and the limit was for $200.00. I never went over the limit, however I did get strapped for cash (I was young and unemployed) and eventually lost track of the account and card. I have no idea what to do with this. i am getting married in a 2 months and I do not have a penny to spare.

Well I cannot believe that I am sittign here today and writing my sad, pitiful story! When did this all start, how did I end up like this? I was a pretty good student graduating college with a dual major at 19. That was something that I was so proud of! My mother and father had raised me with the knowledge that credit cards were not needed! That it was more important to save money and pay for cash.

Here's a few things I'm doing besides consolidation, just to ensure that I'm getting out of the red, and soon! 1) If you have time, get a second job: I found a side job as a pet sitter. It's a small job that only requires about 15 minutes a day and gives supplemental income. You can also try babysitting, or writing blogs for money. 2) Stop using credit cards. Carry cash, instead. The withdrawel fees are worth it, rather than having to pay penalty fees for using money you don't really have. 3) Get a credit counselor.
