Allied has been calling me for OVER a week....maybe TWO. They are looking for my EX husband. We have been divorced for years. He has NEVER lived at my current address/phone number. I have been living here for years. I explained this to multiple Allied Reps....calls still continue. I have given them my ex husbands phone number (with his permission). Calls still continue. :(An so called investogator is calling me on my job, saying he is going to have me served with papers about the loan. The loan was from 2010 and I borrowed $500 dollars. He said I would be arrested for passing a fraudulant instrament over a state line. I live in Birmingham , AL. Can this be done and what can I don. It is a company called Cash-Net.

I rehabbed my defaulted student loans 2 years ago. Everything has been fine (except one small glitch that I have been dealing with concerning a lost Perkins loan. It never transferred and it was reporting on the NSLDB but no one would take ownership of it so I had no one to pay) I received a call from ERS at my job about unpaid tuition. I told them not to call my job again. I do not believe I owe this debt so I gave them my actual cell phone number.

I live in louisiana and have a current loan with pdlnow.com for $250, $320 due. My problem is I can't afford to pay the $320 all at once and I don't want to lose my bank account since I have other lenders to pay. It's sad and I have bought this upon myself but this is my 3rd loan with the comapny. To date 06/27/12 I have paid $1750 to this company when the loans themselves total $955. I called my local office of financial institutions payday lenders department and the lady told be they don't deal with online lenders.

I have a Perkins loan. How long before I am required to start making payments against it? I will be graduating this year.

My husband filed ch7 bankruptcy in 2007, we did not reaffirm the first or second mort. To make things short, we are letting the house go. We went for a long time w/o making payments (6-7 mon) and just now got served with forclosure court papers. My question is, because we didn't reaffirm, is the forclosure process a lot shorter for us (time when we will get the boot)? Someone told me the bank can take the home somewhere around 90 days after filing with the court because we didn't reaffirm. We live in OH if it matters any. I was thinking we would have around a year before we were evicted.....

hello! First of all thank you to everyone who posts on this forum and all the help and advice ! I live in PA and have two loans one with plain green and one with progressive finance (listed as prog payoff) i already know plain green is illegal and sent them my ach revocation letter. They emailed me back to call them , which I did . I told them about being illegal in Pa and since i have more than paid the principle that my account should be paid in full (they owe me but i know i wont see it) they said they arent a payday loan i explained they were not legal to offer their loan in Pa.

I am in the state of Alabama. I currently have 4 payday loans with the following companies: easy money $500 complete cash $500 advance america $500 check depot $500 I have read several of the posts on this forum, and I am not for sure how the letters will help me out of my payday loan cycle hell. I can not close my account, I read the Alabama Payday loan laws, and it says can only be prosecuted if the account is closed, so I don't want to be in any legal trouble possibly go to jail. I don't think the payday loan consolidation thing will do anything but keep me in the same cycle I am in.

I recieved permission to buy a home about 2 years into my 13 bk. I have until feb of 13 until im done. I have a buyer for my house and will make some $$ if I sell. I filed in the middle district of FL, and my research tells me that I DO NOT need permission to sell my homestead.
