OK, So, I have noticed something. Ever since the conversations last week in which I aired my concerns here, two things have taken place. First, I do not know if a conference call ever took place but I indicated that I was available and never heard another word about it. Second, I noticed something else....suddenly, I no longer am receiving any moderation points. I was receiving them, and then not long after posting in that thread I stopped receiving them. I decided to give it a little time, as I know that forum glitches pop up from time to time, but I still am not receiving them.

when i went to college (devry) my mom made me cosign a loan with her and they sent me a check but i never used the money. it was a subsidized loan. not to long after i was literally forced to drop out by my mom and the check went missing but as far as i know it never got used. Now im receiving statements saying that i owe back the money i never used but my mom hasnt gotten anything so what should i do? I never used the money and i have no job and cant go to school. Any suggestions

I'm trying to find out which loans are actually legal, and what my best options are for trying to deal with working out payment arrangements, as my inital contacts with all 6 companies resulted in nothing. I have a loan through mypaydayloan.com, I put a block on them and my bank is working great with me on keeping them from drafting again. I emailed them the laws of Iowa and a validation they will not accept payments of the principal only. They also stated that they have reported to a check reporting agency to show I have a bad check. Has anyone dealt with them and do you know if they do report you as a bad check writer
