:(i ended going with the fnrc and paid them about 1500.00 dollors and just recently found out they have not contacted my mortage company to get my two house payments down to one and a 2% loan for the next 15 years.. They were hired by me on Feb 2012. How do i go about getting my monies back?

Hi ya'll, Great forums with tons of helpful information. But I still have some very particular questions to my situation. Here is my case: After loosing my job I was forced to work out of country (in Mexico under a Mexican local contract), but will return to the US (Texas) later this year. My credit card bills and unsecured personal loans (around $45K debt) where to much to keep up with, so I stopped payments over a year ago. They all show as a write off on my credit report (except one Amex card that I stopped paying in April).

Hi I live in Minnesota and I have a pay day loan through Advance me today. I took out one prior for $400 and paid $520 on it to cover it. Then I made the mistake of taking out another for $600 and have had four debits from my checking account for $144 and supposedly would need to pay $720 to pay it in full. My mother paid my mortage payment with her checking account and the credit card company obtianed her bank account info through a court order. My SSN is NOT on the account. The credit card company filed a garnishment on her account. Will hte bank honor a garnishment on her account if my SSN is not on that account?

I sent letters to the payday loan companies that I found here on the website and 1 company sent a response stating my loan was paid in full. Another company contacted me and was sueing me and taking me to court, since it was $250 I went ahead and paid that amount since I couldn't afford an attorney or court fees. Today I just received an email, I"m not sure which company yet stating that they're going to take me to court and sue me, and place my SSN# on hold. I'm not sure what to do now. Do I contact a lawyer in my area now?

I have a loan with this company for $300.00, This all happened before I knew they didn't have the license in Florida state.Before, my payment was due I called them up and told me I can't make the payment. They had told me to set up a payment arrangement which I told them verbally OK for two paymetn of $100.00 each. I already have payed them the total amount of the principal of the loan which is $300.00. They are still emailing me and telling me that i have made an agreement with them that I broke the contract online with my e-signature. Is this still legal? Please advice.

Good morning, People have been calling my cell phone to ask me personal information: address, credit card number, social security number, telephone, etc., they say I have a debt but do not tell me to whom I owe, or not an account number, company that is charging or amount of the debt, I have no debt but they insist on requiring the information to me, this is very annoying that this sounds like fraud and identity theft, callers not identified only say there is a debt and they need my information to verify my information and to help pay and do not sue me. I can do?
