I received a call from a debt collector on a 900.00 past due from Target National Bank. I informed the collection agency that I would ask for signed receipts of purchases and have not receoved a reply from anyone at Target National Bank. I used to own a Target card. I have not had any transactions on this card and would like for someone in Target National Bank to reply to me. Would you be able to help me on this?

Honestly, I would register, but for some reason, it will not allow me to do so, as the forums state that I already have an account tied to my email address. I also apologize if this is in the incorrect forum. I just wanted to share the information I found in case anyone else was having trouble with this people. If i have been late several times on my payment & have tried thru credit consolidaters to work with the mortgage company to lower my payments until im caught up on all bills and they refuse, can they foreclose? I cannot ever talj out payment arrangements with them as they talk horrible things to my husband & I about how we should be ashamed , they demand to know if i have a 401 k savings plan , how much do i make howmany kids i have , i should still be able to afford payment, etc... I tell them when im late & calls still pour in.

I left voicemails that would probably get me in trouble if I were trying to collect a debt. Yesterday, I answered to calls for "Stephanie Craft" from a foreign sounding man who did not identitfy himself nor the company he was with. My plan is to contact my phone provider regarding this matter. They are strict about phone harassment. I plan to contact BBB and file a former complaint.

I have been making monthly pmts. to a collection agency in TX (Paramount) and my remaining balance is now only approx. $100. I have not requested a settlement and plan on paying the amt. in full. However, I contacted Paramount and asked if I paid off the bill could they please completely remove the account from the credit reporting agencies - and they refused. They stated they would only notify the agencies as "paid in full" as having it removed would give the appearance the initial debt was not valid or somehow diminish their stature as a collection agency?
