I called them back. Apparently, they only hire people with bad dispositions there. 1-800-620-0371. They refused to even tell me what their company is about! That just screams "SCAM!" My number is private,unlisted, I'm on the do not call registry, I pay cash, don't owe anybody anything. I live in New York. Niagra Falls is only 3 1/2 hour drive away. Will they stop if I show up on their doorstep? Lol!

I live in California. I took out an $800 loan with Loan Shop. The interest on the loan is $30 for every $100. I have made interest payments every month to the loan. I was wondering if I am obligated to payback the principle and interest on this Loan. I've been reading other websites about payday loans. And if this company is legal to do business in California? What should I do? I've paid them over $1k already in just interest alone.

I'm sort of stuck here and was wondering if there was a legit consolidation company for payday loans. I cannot shut down my checking account because I am unable to open a new one due to terrible credit and reports to Chex Systems. I've tried multiple places and even my current bank and they said that I would be denied if I closed my checking account and tried to open a new one there. My paychecks are going to pay the fees on these and I opened a new one to pay bills just this last week.

I have had to same two guys call me and my poor father! We just lost my mother and my dad has a bad heart. They threatened to have my dad arrested! Told him they didn't care about his dead wife etc. I can't get them to quit calling. They want like triple what I borrowed and are making all kinds of demands as to how they are to be paid! I live in Oregon. Thinking of having number changed. Can I get them to stop calling and send me some paperwork with an itemized billing so I know what I owe and originally borrowed. I sent the letter and now just got a call from the collection agency here at work. I closed the accounts and I talked to my bank who says that they understand and assure me that the one joint account I have with my wife cannot be accessed by these guys. This guy from the collections department threatened that he is going to find out where I bank and "gaurantees they will get their money".
