Has anyone dealt with the OVLG for payday loans? I have read the posts about doing it myself. This is just too overwhelming to me. I would rather pay a reasonable fee to have it done. I had contacted payday freedom and their fee that I calculated was 40% of the debt including interest. Utterly ridiculous! Any other ideas?

I got a $300 loan from them and ended up paying $810 back. Is there anywhere in the government I can file a complaint against them.

HSBC sent my account into collections in 2010 (Corporate Receivables). That same year I sent payment in full to Corporate Receivables. Now, 2 years later it is still on my credit report and I need a debt validation letter from them and I've found 11 different phone numbers for Corporate Receivables and ALL of them are disconnected. I'm sick over this. I paid in full and they didn't do their part to remove it from my credit report and now I cannot even find valid phone number for them. HELP!!!!

Hi my daughter was seen at Childrens hospital in Oakland, Ca. at the time of service I gave the nurse her medi-cal card, and for some reason they did'nt bill medi-cal. they state she had another form of insurance through kaiser that should have been billed. yet neither eas billed and now its in collections on my credit report damaging my credit...they still can bill the insurance so I wrote to Anna or Hanna at medicredit and sent her all the insurane info from both medi-cal and kaiser my question is how long will it take for this to go out of collections, and in good standing.

Today I received a rather abrasive letter in the mail from Apelles. I know I owe a bank some money and I figured I would pay the debt. It listed a link to pay the debt, but it isn't a working link. I typed it in verbatim how it is written on the letter. I do not wish to call them as I see that many people are having issues with them. I guess I will call the bank itself and deal with it that way. I was just wondering if that is the right thing to do.

i have debts of about 13,000.00 . how can i get help with this into a payment i can afford. we live on social security and cant afford antmore payments?

Is Abacus credit and loan a legitimate lender? I saw information for is this company and it sounded too good to be true. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

After reading other posts about MCM I am really concerned. They contacted me regarding a legitimate $2,000 debt several months ago. I started weekly $25.00 payments 7 weeks ago. Now a "supervisor" is contacting me regarding a payoff offer, stating that the offer is only good today, must be done over the phone, and will be reported to all three bureaus as paid in full. They will not provide anything in writing until after payment is made. Just reading what I have written here it sound like a scam.

I'm on their list, they called me today(Sunday)twice from a listing (201)201-488-8860, w/name Wendy Ezor Engl area code from Hackensack, NJ, told me they were calling from Fredickerisburg VA. I am already being garnished, now they want to collect on it too? I told them I was going to get some info on them first. Glad I found this blog. Thanks everyone. The phone listing is from Wendy's fax number and she is an attorney. Now I ask you, why would they want $52/mo for me to pay off a $31k school loan, when they are garnishing my SSD check for $183.90/mo. Hmmmmmm. sounds fishy to me.
