I see where I cannot legally close an account to keep them from taking funds but am I legally able to send a revocation of the ACH approval? I'm on the payday loan merry-go-round from hell, my own fault, and I'm trying to rectify it but I just keep getting deeper. I know of 4 PDL companies that I have loans with are illegal in Missouri. Any suggestions? I'm currently overdrawn in my BOA account but they say I can make payment arrangements and I'm meeting with them tomorrow.

I Have three loans current right not one with Mycashnow, one with Cash Line and the other with Western Sky. Did you close your bank account and it worked. What happened after they tried to take the money from your account. Little scared to close my account and go through this trouble but it seems like the best thing i can do right now because i cant afford to pay them back and pay my bills at the same time. Is online lending illegal in Kentucky? I took out a loan from this company, then heard that online lending was illegal in Ky, and I dont know if it is or not!

Does anyone have any experience settling debt with this collection agency? We have received a letter from them saying that they have purchased one of our defaulted debts and are getting ready to give them a call to try and strike a deal. I just received this email from Ameriloan: "Ameriloan regrets to inform you that our ACH debit was not honored by your bank, and was returned marked for review. As a courtesy to you, our valued customer, we are extending an opportunity to amend this oversight. Such matters are taken seriously at Ameriloan.

I am finally fed up with having so many payday loans. I have taken the advise on this sight and just emailed them all to remove my authorization for them to deduct funds from my checking account or garnish my wages. Tomorrow I am going to my bank to close my account and open another one (hopefully at the same account, I really love my bank). My question is, can they really call my employer? I will go to my Human Resources on Monday and let her know that there are fraudulent claims being made and to ignore the calls if I have to but I'd prefer that they not know what is going on.

I am now confident I can get out from under all this mess & hopefully keep my $. I live in CA, and after looking up all my debits heres what I've come up with: 1. White Hills Cash: $405.00 - I've paid $992 total 2. Liberty Group: $300 - I've paid $450 3. National Opportunities (its my payday): $1000 - I've paid $1307 4. Everest Cash: $300 - I owe $120 5. Mass Street Group: $300 - I've paid $810 6. Ameriloan: $500 - I owe $350 7.

Im so glad for this forum. Its good to know Im not alone. Im trying to get rid of this debt. Im wanting to settle at least 4 of my cc's. HSBC @ $1678. JC Penney @ $800. BOA @ $1715. GE Capital @ $1715. The balances look rather small compared to some of the others on the forum. However, we just have too many cards w balances. I have a few other cards but i can pay those because the pyments are reasonable. Its just so hard to not have money for emergencies. Very scarry. I used to be with CCC, but had to get off due to the high payment. $765 a month.
