New and need help

13 years 3 months ago
I have several outstanding debts. Credit cards, payday loans, and medical bills. I want to pay all of them back. I'm trying to, but I can't make all payments every month. So one or two are usually a little behind. I want to get a unsecured loan to get all these into one lower payment. I'm not sure if I can even ask this here, but does anyone have experience with any good companies that can help with this? I need recomendations. I search the internet and get so many places that come up - I don't know whats legit and whats not.

What if Court Executive Officer office is vacant?

13 years 3 months ago
If anybody knows... So the Court Executive Officer, also called (Head) Clerk Of Court for my county here in California, long story short, is currently manned by an individual that did not take the constitutionally required Oath of Office (I have it all documented etc). The office is technically vacant, though nothing has happened yet and my Criminal Complaint to the DA has thusfar been ignored. Does anybody know what the ramifications on a court case would be if the Court Executive Office had (theoretically until somebody important agrees that such is the case) been vacant through the up-to

More Plain Green help!

13 years 3 months ago
So i sent them a letter stating I had paid them $177 more then the principal amount, and revoking my ACH transactions. They have stopped the ACH and removed my bank info, however they show my account as being past due and are calling. Should I keep sending them letters stating that their loans are illegal, and that i have paid more than I should have? If so I know that there are some legal things I should site in the letter. What are they? I'm needing help! They are not easy to deal with at all!

Questions about Bankruptcy

13 years 3 months ago
My husband and I lost both our jobs in October of 2011. My husband found a new job in November of 2011, but it required us to move from TN to IL. We own a home in TN and have been approved to do a short sale. However, we received a notice in the mail today that they are auctioning off our house on April 24, 2012. We are wondering if our best option is to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy? We have about 10,000 dollars in credit card debt, medical bills, and 2 vechiles. We still owe on the vechiles and would like to keep those as we need them to get to and from work.

Pepper Cash ignoring my request for refund

13 years 3 months ago
After they have admitted they are not licensed in the State of California, they e-mailed me to let me know they have waived the balance ($438.75 on a $500 illegal loan AND after I had paid 1591.25 over the principle since 10-4-2011). This was the response I received Tuesday, 03-27-2012. I immediately wrote back thanking them for that, but that I wanted my $1591.25 overpayment refunded. (I had written another PDL, CCS, and there was NO problem).

White Hills Cash responded with BS!!!

13 years 3 months ago
So I closed my bank account and sent the letters to the three illegal lenders I was with. I overpaid all of them a total of $700. I hadn't received a response from any of them. All of the phone calls and emails stopped right after those emails went out. Today in the mail I get a letter from White Hills Cash. I won't type out the whole letter but it basically says they are disappointed that I am electing to dispute the terms of the loan agreement I signed.

Dell Financial Services SOL

13 years 3 months ago
Good evening, First of all, thank you all for being so helpful! My question is regarding SOL for Dell Financial Services (currently being collected by MCM). I've been reading different forums but I'm a little confused as to what the actual SOL would be. I'm in New Jersey and opened the account by ordering a laptop back in January of 2005. I'm still trying to figure out what my last payment on the account was. Anyhow, I'm not sure if this counts as a written contract (6 years), sale of goods (4 years) or if it's based on the Texas SOL (4 years).

Payday loans and Bankruptcy (CA)

13 years 3 months ago
I like many other individuals obtained payday loans that were not legal in CA, I sent out my revocation letters and was succesful with some lenders, others not so. I also contacted the AG in my state and the department of corporations.... These lenders do not care if they are supposed to do business in our state, they will go to extremes to try to collect on these illegal debts. I am not going to file for bankruptcy because of these MORONS and their fees. Eventhough these were not legal loans, do I still but them in my filing bankruptcy?
