I got a debt settlement offer from law office of m.n.kay on behalf of FDS Bank/Macys
before I send them my money I want to make sure this is legit, and im not gonna send a bunch of money to some people and not have my debt paid off.
has anyone dealt with law offices of mitchell n. kay in the past?
thank you! :D

I received two bills from this company and I am afraid that they will try and seize my accounts. The funny thing is that the bill came in my maiden name. I have been married for 10 years! Sounds fraudulent to me. Does anyone know how to make them stop harassing me? I have moved from the state that I originally lived in 6 years ago and my phone number is unlisted, yet they still managed to find me.

hey guys,
my amex card was way overdue and it was handled by plaza associates - now I call them and they say that its been redirected to a law office - guess which - law offices of mitchell n kay.
???? was never called or contacted by this office, I called them and they told me the exact amount of my AMEX debt and how I could pay it.
after reading all this, I hesitate to pay them this amount but I should and want to pay it asap too.
any advice??

1) How can they seize the funds in your bank accounts?
Where would they obtain this information?
2) Their website (resolve.mitchellnkay.com) is not a valid site.

Is this person for real. I am being asked to pay 50% of fraudulent charges on a Master Card. They are asking me to make the check/money order/check payable to their "client". Has the client extended power of attorney to allow MNK to endorse in their behalf? Any suggestions?

We have filed a bar complaint against him seeking revocation of his license. His office has done some pretty bad things and made false representations and claims about my client... to me even!! I cannot believe what his office staff comes up with.. pure fabricated nonsense...

I am also under scrutiny with this idiot. I got brave and called their telephone number and they answered as "Mitchell N. Kay Law Offices and when I confronted them about their name showing them as a Scam, they denied it and said that if it was true, then they would have been closed down.
So I'm willing to start the ball if I can get some support from everybody else who have been Scammed by these idiots. You can reach me through my email: email address removed as per forum rules - Mike

Got a letter today from them and went on line to see what was up on their website. They ask for the reference code the letter, first/last name and last four of ss#. nothing matched up..called them and gave them the same info and they have no record of me, not to mention the fact that the debtor is a firm that i do not have any account with. SCAM!

These guys got me at work. They referenced a debt that I did have and I even gave them routing and account numbers, like a fool. However, I realized that i just have verbal information and nothing in writing. Should I have the bank dtop payment before they withdraw next week? I live in CT
