Creditors are rejecting me even after 9 years of filing bankruptcy

7 years 1 month ago
Filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2009. Brought my utilization ratio to 60%, and bought a car recently. My current credit score is 670. I have been applying for credit cards since the last 1 year. But all the credit card companies are rejecting me. Friends are saying credit cards are thinking I will file bankruptcy soon. Have anyone experienced something like this?

Can I roll over a balance of one card to another is T&C are better?

7 years 1 month ago
I have a credit card from Chase Bank. When I took out the card, the interest rate was a bit high. Now, I've got an offer from Old National Bank to take out a credit card with better terms and conditions. But I have some unpaid balance in my previous card. Is it possible to roll over that balance in my new credit card? If yes, how long will it take to wait to roll over the balance? Will I have to pay any fee?

Dealing with debt from Grandparents

7 years 1 month ago
I have a grandmother who owns the home she lives in. She also has a lot of debt that is likely to outlive her. I'm in line to inherit the home, however I believe i'm correct in assuming that if she dies with any debt, her home will be used as an asset to pay that off first before i'm able to inherit? If this is true, is there anything that can be done while she is still alive (and that is within the law) to avoid this? Seeing as her home is her only asset, is there any form of bankruptcy that would allow her to keep her home and forego her debts? Or, would an option be for her to sign ove

What is meant by following a frugal lifestyle? I'm confused a bit. Does it mean I have to save a certain amount every month or it means practicing a definite lifestyle?

1st Savings Bank

7 years 1 month ago
This is embarrassing, but I recently paid BBM over $600.00 to settle a debt with 1st Savings. I argued that I had paid it before, but never received a paid in full letter. So, finally, I relented and paid it. I then checked my Franklin Planner and found notes from 5 years back where I did, in fact, pay for it. I even sent an email to a consumer law firm (never heard back) about this. I am wondering what to do know. I was thinking of sending a letter requesting the paid in full from the original firm and then demand payment back, or should I find another lawyer?

FL online payday loans - legal/illegal? Tribal?

7 years 1 month ago
This is my first time posting but I am in over my head. I received an $1200 pre approval from Plain Green and after some research I found out they were illegal and ignored it. However, I do have some online PDL and I wanted to know if they are legal or illegal in Florida. I have not started making payments yet but they are scheduled to be deducted out my next paycheck and I have my rent, car note and car insurance due. I get paid bi weekly and I am afraid that the PDLs will deduct my money before I am able to pay for my bills. I don’t have insurance had to have my wisedom teeth removed.
