I am in a desperate financial situation right now and I dont know how to get out of it. I have the following 3 PDL payments due on 10/31 (I am in NY): zip19 - $287.95 (originally borrowed 240) plaingreenloans - $114.83 (originally borrowed 600) paydayloanmax - $67.06 (originally borrowed 340, 2nd time extending and not paying full amount) Zip19 and PGL dont have options to extend or lower the amount. I have other payments due on the 31st that I can not extend (lendingclub and prosper) as well as credit cards that would probably allow me extend till my next pay period.

I lived at the Riverstone Apartments in Federal Way and moved out back in March of 2009. I had not given suffucient notice for moving out at the end of March, so I had to Pay April's rent even though I would not be there. I also had a deposit I paid when I moved in. I have over 80 pictures of the place when I moved out showing it was emmaculate and move in ready. I also have witnesse's who saw the apartment when I locked the door behind me. I paid April 2009's rent to them before I left.

Hello all, Not sure how common this is but I have a problem. I had an account charged off to Collect America/CACHV/SquareTwo or whatever they are called now back in 2009 and since then, I have been passed to two law firms (one in another part of the country and one local) and now it's with a CA. The first law firm sent a dunning letter but at the time I couldn't pay so I ignored it. No further letters from them. About a year later (now 2010), I get another dunning letter from a local law firm and by this time I have found this site and followed the instructions.

Anyone heard of paydayfreedom.com? I found them whilst googling for a payday consolidation company, and they *seem* really good.... they quoted me a repayment plan that is really good, and if it's true and there are no catches, it will be a HUGE relief for me. BUT.... I can't seem to find much about them as far as reviews or anything. Has anyone here had any experience with them? Or is there a payday consolidation company that is reputable that you've had good experience with? Thanks!

I have over $8,000 in private student loans I do not have a job right now and they keep calling. What should I do? Is there anyway to stop the calls and make then send letters instead?

Ok, so I have a big cc debt from a previous marriage. With interest it's about $30K. The cc sold it to a collection agency which years ago I agreed that it was my debt & started making payment $100/mo. I wasn't even touching the interest portion let alone the pricipal. So my ex and I split and in the divorce documents it states that I owe to the collection agency that dollar amount and my ex would pay half of the monthly payment. He has done this regularly. I got a letter in the mail dated Oct 20 that says on Aug 31st this new company now owns my account. LVNV Funding.

The emails and phone calls to my work from a myriad of their numbers continue, months after telling them that I am not allowed to receive communication there. Not surprising, just irritating. I started answering the phone with "Sheriff's Department", just to hear them hustle. I filed complaints with BBB, FTC, IC-3 and my State's Attorney General's office (I live in NC). The NC Department of Justice has sent them a letter informing them that they are not a licensed lender in NC and to immediate cease and desist all collections on this account.

Have anyone heard of Upstsate Management Service Can anybody tell me if this is a Spam Someone call and said that they serve me with some papers and I will be going to Civil Court for Ace Cash and I owe 743.00 Which I don't. I only owe Ace 337.22... Then she left this number to 877-201-0964 to call back. When I call back the agent advise that they are a filing company and proccess paperwork. Then he look at my records and stated that I don't have an court date setup and I can take care of this matter today. I just need to know is this a spam
