Wife's prior debt, and garnishment of my accounts?

Hello, Yesterday my wife and I found out that Machol & Johannes put a garnishment on my checking and savings accounts. My wife was recently added to the accounts as a co-signer. They claim that she has a debt dating back to 2008 that she never paid. They (Machol & Johannes) claim to have served her back in 2008. They have not notified her recently, nor have they notified me, that my accounts would be garnished.

Yes, I just received a call from "an investigator claiming they they were about to send my paperwork to va to have me arrested on fraud charges for not paying back an online payday loan from 2008. I live in Virgnia and the loan company was from arizona. They are saying that if I don't send them 460. today by 2pm that they will be contacting my human resourses to get information an by as soon as tomorrow, i will be arrested on fraud charges and will have to pay 2,418 to bond my self out. Can they do this?

 

business partner problems after bankruptcy

Hi, I was just wondering....I filed a bankruptcy about 2 years ago after a bad business venture with my brother (partnership) went south. The bankruptcy was mostly business-related debt including some personal debt. My brother is now being sued by Revenue Canada for the full amount that we owed (my share was written off in the bankruptcy)...and he is now threatening to take me to court in order to force me to pay my half.

Advice please...... I have 4 storefront loans and 2 online loans. I live in missouri. I talked with someone from Progressive debt relief yesterday about helping to get rid of these. Per their adivce i put a deposit only hold on my checking account. Is there a way to handle these myself? thanks

5000 in credit card debt - cant afford to pay HELP

Hello, I currently owe 5300 in credit card debt - 3600 which is now in the hands of Richard Boudreau firm and i realistically CAN NOT afford to make any of these payments. I lost my full time job and only make about 600 dollars a month while attending school. I havent made payments on these accounts for about 2.5 years...what is my best course of action??

I got a call today from a place called Kaufman/Hines and associates.The guy said his name was Mr.Steven and that they were about to file court papers on me for fraud alligiatioins and thief by check for a payday loan. he told me I could make a payment today and then 3 more payments to get my loan payed off.I told him I have no money right now and he said he would hold it off till friday but i had to go get a pre paid visa from walmart and make a payment.I told him maybe i could pay 200 on friday and he told me he would have to call his supervisior and try to get permission for that and he woul

I have 4 payday loans in a store. That means i had to give them a check to hold. I lost my job and now I can not pay them can i be put in jail for them 4 checks?
