Should I sign the Debt Settlement Agreement BEFORE I send to the collection agency? I have planned to send them an unsigned form, and when they sign and return, to then mail them payment with a counter-signed form. I would like to know if that sounds appropriate.

Hello all, I am currently in a dual program (JD and Master’s in Public Administration). This is the first time in my educational career that I needed to accept loans. In my undergraduate I received grants and scholarships to pay for school. Last year, I accepted Grad Plus loans and unsubsidized direct loans. I have three years left of grad school. I am currently in a contemplating on accepting either the grad plus loan or unsubsidized direct loan or only one. The program is 15,000 all year. What do you recommend I do to minimize the cost of loans?

Im downing in payday/installment loans debt. I will never do this again, it’s a total nightmare. Something to easy to get is never works. I need step by step help on how to pay back payloans / installment loans that are more afforable to pay back. How to stop interest and make reasonable settlement offers etc.. I borrowed and Im not trying to run from my obligations I just need my life back. These payday loans are making it very hard to pay my essential bills, such as rent, utilities etc.. Hello, I am hoping you could help me get some better answers. I see you post a lot and you seem to know what you are talking about. I have multiple online loans, some are considered PDL's and some are CSOs. Most of them are either registered or licensed in my state, which is Ohio. So I know I won't get much help there. My question lies with Plain Green Loans, which shows up in my checking account as Credit PGL LLC. I have looked both names up on my states elicense.com lookup site. The search does not bring up any information. When I use this site it does bring up some of my other lenders.

Hello Everyone, I am very unclear about Plain Green Loans and whether or not they can sue me in their tribal courts and win a wage garnishment against me. Most of what I am finding on the net is that they can not sue me in state civil court because they are not legal in Ohio by my states standards/laws. However I am unclear as to whether or not they could actually sue me in their tribal courts, forcing me to go to their tribal land and potentially win causing me to have my wages garnished by a tribal lender operating outside my state lines.
