I received a call from Capital Recovery Systems (I am in California) and they are telling me I have a defaulted PDL from a company called Money & More back from August 08.

We keep receiving phone calls from Allied Interstate. They never state why they are calling - we pay our bills on time and do not have credit card debt. When we try to call back, all we receive is a voice mail and never get to speak to anyone in person. My husband's sons have had financial problems - is it possible that they are harassing us about them? It is highly annoying and illegal!

I just recently got a new job and I wasn't sure if my check was in the bank yet. So when I called the bank hot line to check my account and herd that there was 200 dollars in there I thought that it was a check from work. Like an idiot I didn't check. So now Star is trying to take out all this money from my account that isn't there and sending me into massive debt. I called my bank to see what they can do for me but they told me that they can't do anything till I pay the bank back all the negatives, that they will not even put a stop on it till I pay it off. What do I do???

Hello, I was served a summons this evening for Porfolio Recover Asso. I haven't paid this debt because first I was on disability then loss my job because I was on disability. Then went on unemployment because of lossing my job. I barley making ends meet. Porfolio recovery is not the only card I owe. I was bombarded with phone calls so I stopped answering the phone because I didnt have enough to pay all of them. I answer the phone to talk to them and they were yelling at me "How much do you have" we need $1200 another call come in wanting $800 I dont have the money.

I currently live in ohio and have made the mistake of taking out payday loans to help pay bills when my husbands hours were cut. The companies I have them through are Integrity advance, CashNetUSA, Payment Direct and MJK marketing. I tried to find there licenses in Ohio and could not. These were all done over the internet. I just need help in getting out of this mess. I will pay what I need to pay, but the repeated fees are eating up my paycheck. Thanks for any help

I never received a collection notice from them ever. I wouldn't have known about it until I applied for a credit card and ir showed up on my credit report

Here is my information: State: NC Loans: US Fast Cash - Borrowed $300, Paid $90, Owe $210 One Click Cash - Borrowed $300, Paid $640, Overpaid $340 Ameriloan - Borrowed $300, Paid $90, Owe $210 Cash Call - Borrowed $1500, Paid $722.80, Owe $777.20 (This loan was originally with Western Sky and was sold to Cash Call) Plain Green - Borrowed $800, Paid $240.20, Owe $559.80 I also had a loan with Think Cash which was paid off.

I have been reading posts and your forum gives so much helpful information. But I am still freaking out because I got a call today from a law firm IAG. This was the first call and contact I have had with this company or law firm. He said one of my payday loans needed to be paid back and I had to do it by 4pm or else they will send a summons by carrier to my home with information of them taking me to court. I sent out a letter to EPProcessing and had not received anything back until I got this call. I do owe them $400 plus interest (I guess). Which I am willing to pay.

Is Jefferson Capital a junk debt buyer? If so, can I dispute the debt based on the premise that I never signed an agreement w/them and since they are a junk debt buyer, legally they can only collect from me what they actually paid to obtain my debt information? A little history on my acct with tribute: It was a high risk accounts - I was trying to rebuild my credit. I paid on time but when the new credit rules took place they closed my account, as well as anyone else who had similar terms.
