I've made stupid choices and taken out quite a few payday loans (mistake!!!). And now I'm in an even bigger hole than I ever thought possible. I've done research and found OH laws regarding payday lenders and what they are allowed to do. Then I find other information that says otherwise. Are you able to tell me where to look to see if the lenders I have are legal in OH and/or what I can do to get rid of them? I don't care to pay them but I can't keep paying these ridiculous fees. Thanks for your help
Lost job. Too many collection calls. Surviving on a payday loan. A collector has filed a lawsuit against me. I don't even have money to hire an attorney.
I was in a bind and had to take a mobil loans loan out. I KNOW better. Now I am drowning.
I have paid the principal back. I am in Michigan. What is next? My checking acct is all ready overdrawn.
Does receiving an "order to close chapter 13 case without discharge" mean it is being closed or can I stop it somehow and avoid the fees involved in reopening to complete my Pre-discharge Debtor Education course. My attorney didn't tell us the details or timeline of when the 2nd course had to be completed. He finally sent us a link to the site on 5-17 and today 5-19 I received the "order to close" dated 5-15. Is it now too late to avoid the filing fees of reopening or do I have a chance to get it done and submitted before the case is actually closed?
I have a CNBA account That i want to pay off. But none of the Phone numbers i find are good numbers for CNBA. I want to verify the amt, before i pay it. Please, do you have a real number or way i can verify my account? Thank you
