Hi Soaplady, thanks in advance for your help. Anyway, I am going through my credit report for the first time and see a few items I need to dispute. There is an item labeled "Charged Off", should I dispute the debt with them or the collections agency who is listed later on the report for the same debt. As a matter of fact, there are two different collection agencies showing the same debt. Is that normal? Do I need to dispute with both?

I received a phone call at work today from a man named Steve Wilson for an online payday loan that they withdrew out of my account in Sept. He told the girl that answered the phone that he needed to speak to an employee there that he had a criminal summons for from the court house in my town. She told him to hold on, and put my supervisor on the phone. he told my supervisor the exact same thing. and left his name and number that if I didnt call him back by 5:00 then he was coming to my work and embarrassing me in front of everybody with a warrant for my arrest.

My mom is mentally incapasitated. Mr. Marcus threatened her; that if she didn't pay that she will have no money ever. My mom is homeless, and living on disabilty. I am in charge of her money. She was so scared that she set up, and gave a initial amount of money. I am so outraged. She told them that she had nothing. I have to stop what they set up. It is my responsibility to handle her money. This is crazy. Yes, I know they want their money. But, there are also circuimtances.

I paid on a car for 4 years (always on time). Long story short, when ex hubby left I could no longer afford the car payment which increased about every 6 months. (No clue why it kept increasing, Friendly Finance out of Maryland) Anyway, voluntarily gave up the car in February 2010. The car sat, literally, until October 2010. No tags, no insurance, waiting to be repo'd. FF kept calling me at work. No joke 5 to 6 times a day. Not just me but all of my co-workers. I received a call from an unknown number today.....Someone named Scott Matthew called me and sounded very rude on the voicemail he left. He stated that he was calling regarding a claim that was filed against me and was scheduled to be at my place of employment the latter part of this week. And he even said the name of the office I work at! He said that this was a serious matter with his client and that I should call right away.
