I have a PDL with MMG, which is now Holiday Group. I live in NY, so they are illegal here. I closed my bank account and sent them the letter. With the illegal interest fees, my loan is almost paid off, but they are insisting that it isn't and that I need to call them to work out an arrangement. What should my next step be?

I have written 2 validation letters to Credit One and they still will not validate the debt they just state they sold the account. I believe the intial debt is not even mine. How do I go about getting them to respond and remove. Shouldn't they have to verify the debt even if they sold the account since they are the originating account holder. I have contacted the supposed company that they sold it to and they could not validate the debt and have stop activity and are removing the account. But I still have the orginal debt holder on my credit report how do I get them to remove it?

I need help trying to figure out if all my payday loans are legit can you please help me?

I got a voice message from them saying I must call them immediately.....Rude!!! I didn't do it immediately but I called and they asked forsomeone who used to have my new phone number. They could hardly speak or understand English. The phone they insisted I call is 1 800 620 0371. Looks like they change numbers a lot.

I defaulted on 8 cards last year and settled 5. Three still floating around. I did keep paying and am current on 2 credit cards which are closed. Will my credit score increase as time goes by? Or not because 3 cards still in collections? Thanks

They just call everyone in the book with a certain name hoping to locate a debtor, regardless of if they bother 500 other people needlessly. They need their asses kicked!

Help! I have gotten myself into quite the depths of payday loan hell and could really use some advice! I live in Washington State and have the following internet loans: Pepper Cash- $540 (original loan was for $400 and I have made payments, the last of which was $208 and my balance is $540) Ameriloan-$585 United-$585 Seaside-$500 Big Sky-$500 Cash in a Wink-$416 I cannot find that these companies have licenses in WA. I find myself having to take more loans as the fees of the current loans deplete my bank account every two weeks! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

A question I would like your opinion on. Guys, do you feel pressured to go all out and spend a ton of money on an engagement ring to impress your girlfriend? Ladies, does the cost of the ring actually increase how much love you feel for your man? I dont have a ton of money in my bank account but the ring I suggested for my GF the other day she said was to small so that sucked and now I don't know what to do. So, what's your thoughts on this?
