I have a handful of pay day loans that I wish to settle and free my self from. All are internet based (CashJar, Advantage Cash Services and UpFrontPayDay). Do these companies accept settlements and is this my best option?

All my letters have been sent and so far I have received one refund from galaxy marketing. Integrety Advance and Star Cash Processing keep calling for my payment. I just keep emailing them asking where my refund is for the overcharge and state that I have filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and Florida attorney general. I also email United Cash loans asking where my refund is from them but have never gotten a single response back from them in email or phone call.

Target corporation has hired Bennet Law in Ut. to recover civil damages from me for my sons involvement in a shoplifting incident. Is this legitament or should I be seeking legal help to fight this claim? We still have to deal with the courts on this matter and I have never heard of anything like this. The items from the store were returned and they would never have accounted for as much as they are billing me for.

My husband took out an unsecured loan @ a finance company in 2008. We then went through some family financial troubles later that year & became unable to make that pmt.The did file legal, judgement received & started garnishment, $50 mthly. He has 3 child support garnishments already so there wasn't much left for them to take. He lost his job & we offered to continue to pay them $50 every wk but they refused that pmt. Now they are contacting him @ his current place of emp & being very rude to him.

I pulled my three reports as i am going to begin challenging some items on my reports. On my transunion report two accounts that I had that were charged off it says dates to be removed and gives a month and the year. One is 8/2011 and the other is 2/2012. My question is is this the same date for all three reports or will these come off the transunion and remain on the other two? And if that's the case should I leave them alone and let them fall themselves and not challenge them?

Not really much of an update though. My phones are pretty quiet except for the daily phone call from CashNetUSA (still have not paid anything...hoping to give something next paycheck). I have not heard from LoanPointUSA or CashDirectExpress. Got threats from MyNextPaycheck which I ignored...they have been served the Cease/Desist letter by email and fax so that's that. I am expecting a call from a third party collection company soon...ugh. I am paying off Ace Cash Express and Think Cash.
