This company "helped" me to settled one of my accounts on 01/2408, It has recently been brought to my attention that I have had a civil complaint filed against me from the same creditor. No one at NAFS wants to know about it, they are rude to me and disrespectful too. I have documents from this company to prove that this account was settled. These documents state that NAFS will notify the creditor of the settled account, but they did not. Could you please give an advice? I will appreciate it. Marialuz.

My boyfriend had an AMEX card he defaulted on. He received a summons regarding a lawsuit from Mann Brackett on behalf of AMEX. He called them immediately and set up a payment plan. He paid, on-time, every month until Mann Brackett went out of business. It was then picked up by ARSI (Michael and Associates). He received paperwork regarding the transferr over to Michael and Associates. He began calling them and leaving voicemails asking them to call him back about the debt - he never received a call back. We DV'ed Michael and Associates via CMRRR.

how can i pay them off

My fiance wrote a check to Walmart that bounced by a few dollars. The check went back through a 2nd time and cleared. So the check got paid and was never returned to walmart. In addition she was charged a 35.00 fee from wachovia which was paid out of the account. We never heard anything from walmart and never expected to as the checck had been paid by the bank. 3-weeks later we notice a 30.00 EFT in her account from "Automated Debt Telesvcfee". This unauthorized and unexpected fee resulted in another overdraft charge of $35.00 from the bank.

I have a couple of short term, very high interest installment loans that I can't get paid off. I have to go in the hospital, and with recovery time I'll be off work for at least 4 weeks. I know with credit cards you have to get pretty far behind before they charge off, but I don't know about these installment loans. They are local businesses, and I've tried talking to them but they have only said that I have no options except to make full payments on time. As soon as I get back to work I will resume payments, but I need to know if they can sue me for being one month behind. Thank you.

alright i just got a loan from payday-loan-yes. they went in tried to take money out, but not enough funds. i called them they said it wasnt them. so i closed my accounts put a fraud alert on equifax ect. my ? is how do i get them paid in full and be done with them for good? from all ive read its almost impossible. any ideas?

Recently recieved a letter and my last payment back from AllianceOne after having been paying them for 2 years. Was a form letter with the box checked by " has been turned over to Arrow Finance", no other explanation. Did Arrow take over AllianceOne? Had noticed that AllianceOne was taking longer and longer to cash my checks, they didn't cash the December payment until the middle of Febuary. Thanks in advance, WEO
