These people from Goldstein, Henderson and Weiss call me up and say they can seize my assets. My vehicles, house and anything else to settle this debt. Is this true or are these guys just a bunch of bullies trying to take someones last cent?

From what I have read in your forum, internet based PDLs are legal in Tennessee if they are licensed in another state. I have the following: PDL Now.com - $200 principal - $55 fee weekly - total paid so far $165 Instant Cash $400 principal - $120 fee weekly - total paid so far $360 United Cash Loans - $300 principal - $90 fee weekly - total paid so far $270 Titans Group, LLC - $300 principal - $90 fee weekly - total paid so far $270 Additionally there is not another company Pay Day Loan Yes that I never applied for a loan through that is trying to debit my account.

Well I have to date recived one refund and filed complaints with the BBB, FTC and my attorney general for refunds from the other 3 that overcharged me. I have only received one call so far saying that I was going to be arrested but I know more are on the way. I will keep you all posted on my progress with these ipdl's.

Here's the situation (as briefly as possible): I had taken out an installment loan with First Bank of Delaware for $500. From what I recall, according to the terms of the contract, I paid $80 every other week (for a total of around $1000). I took this early in 2010, so the details are fuzzy. Hello. I've been able to keep up with paying just above minimum or just minimum on my considerable consumer debt, a combination of credit cards, auto loan, student loan). However, I'm bobbing the water. I've got good credit and always pay on time or before the due dates, but I've got to reduce my monthly payments. Things were manageable until the interest rates went through the roof. I tried about 18 months ago to renegotiate some of the interest rates, but to no avail. I don't want to ruin my good credit. Does asset acceptance need to show proof of an account? For example, a signed agreement.

Both my wife and I recieved a judgment on a case that was a couple years old now. I don't question the SOL on this, rather, that it has the wrong last name on it. Last year, my wife and I finally got our last names changed. I had been trying to get it changed since before we were married. Anyway, the suit was in our old name and not our new name. We got our name changed in the same city, county, and State the plaintiff. Again, we got a judgment and I'd rather not have to pay all those court fees.
