I live in Arizona and took out a loan through ThinkCash in August of 2010. I made a total of 5 payments but then my wife lost her job and we were no longer able to make the payments. I am now being contacted by National Credit Adjusters stating that I owe over $1000. The original loan was for $500. My wife was was just told today after speaking with a rep that we have 48 hours to give them an answer as to whether I can agree to 6 payments of $173.28 with the first payment due March 31st.

I am working on my answer to my summons. I am writing it to look exactly like the complaint with the county municipal court as heading, next I have the plaintiff's name/address followed by my name and adress as defendant. To the right where the plaintiff's had complaint I have changed that to include case number and just the title of Answers/affirmative defenses. my question is I have Midland as Plaintiff do I need to add their attorney in the top part of my answer on the left side with the Plaintiff's name?

Collection Agency (CA) referred my debt to a collection lawyer. I requested tfrom them to provide me a debt validation and they sent me a copy of the statement from my original creditor. Will this satisfy the validation because I included in the debt validation request to provide copy of agreement with your client that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt. CA stated that they satisfied the request. Is this enough evidence when I requested a additional document?

Has any dealt with cash transfer centers. I had taken at least 10 loans with them. It was a cycle I couldnt get out of so i closed my account to them. I do owe them $645 but my question is I paid them at least $1000 in there finance charges over the 10 loans i had with them. Do I still owe the $645. Also has anyone had any dealings with ARM of Florida?

I have seen in previous posts in regards to my issues, but I haven't seen any responses. Basically, my fiance a settlement with Machol and Johannes that is to be paid in monthly installments. They do not send paper statements regarding his balance and when he calls to get it they alway fight with him over this telling him that they can not mail out a statement showing what payments have been recieved and the remaining balance. The payments can be verified by his bank statements as processed, but he never knows what his remaining balance is.

I had called an hour ago because i haven't received my letter of confirmation saying that my debt has been settled in full. They were suppose to email it and i am still waiting. It has been a month since i have paid this. what else do i do?

How can I legally stop debt collection agencies from harrasment?

is texas on of the states that allows EPP and if not do i wait for my legal payday loans go into collections before i start making payments or arrangements? how long does it take for the loans to go into collections? and with the illegal ones like one click cash and speedy cash do i send the letter stating that im only paying on the principle if i even owe anyhting after deducting all the refinace fees they have already charged me? can i send the letter even before i stop paying them, because as of now i am still up to date with my payments.
