family member keeps getting calls from them and he has no outstanding bills what so ever. he still is getting annoying calls.what can we do?

I am tired of these ADR collectors calling me about a payday loan can I do anything about it plus they keep threating me about I am going to jail and they charges on me

i am a mess i live in ohio creditors interchange has a debt i am paying on for my mom did a check by phone for 150.00 it did not clear because funds were not there got a call saturday that this is a bad check and i was going to jail. looked on line and it looks like a check by phone is different than writing one is this true. scared things are falling apart. i also have 6 old payday loans from 2 years ago that collection agent from mrs is threaten me .

i live in ohio and have 2 payday loans that are due on monday can not pay them what will happen scared.

Never give permission to bank accounts or post dated checks with these companies. Always send a money order or cashier's check. Never talk to them on the phone. If you answer, politely ask them to send you something in the mail, you never know whos on the other end of the line. Also, you can send them a first class letter, return reciept requested asking them to stop calling you at home, work, etc, calling your neighbors and such. They are legally entitled to do so, unless you specifically tell them no. If they continue, you can counter sue. I'm learning this the hard way.

when disputing online what should i choose as your reason for disputing? Here are some of the choices: payment never late no knowledge of account unathorized charges balance inccorect Im just trying to get some of these things off. What is the best option for me---My husband and I filed Ch 13 Oct 09---he was recently deported out of US and now I am left with the condo I own which is underwater ---Is my best bet to file Ch 7 now?
