I took out a payday loan at Quick Cash in Boise Idaho over a year ago. I defaulted on that loan. Yes, they called me and everything, but, i didnt have a way to pay them back. Now I am getting harrassed by some guy (3rd party collector that bought the debt), he said I can be arrested for writing a bad check. The loan was for 300 total check was for 360. I have not heard a word from Quick Cash in a long time. Now all of a sudden this creep is calling me saying they are going to have me served with court papers and charge me for negotiating a bad check out of state....I still live in Idaho.

My he got his son was contacted today by a collection agency don't know how she got his number it was not listed on any of my paperwork. She told him I needed to contact her immediatly or I would be charged with bank fraud. Also that I was going tobe served. This was from 2001 isn't there a statue of limitations and if so where do I go to find them. They had to violate laws because I never gave them my son's information what can I do. These people said they were representing Check n Go.

This is tricky, I'll try to be as clear as I can. In 2007 I enrolled in classes at a community college. I applied for and was awarded a pell grant and both subsidized and unsubsidized loans. My first semester all went well and both the grant and loans were disbursed. My second semester I dropped all of my classes. Because of that, the other half of my grant and both loans were never disbursed to pay the school for that semester. I moved and didn't change my address with the school (because I was not going to be a student again) therefor never received the notices they sent.

I have been receiving calls from kevin garsh of morgan and assoc. Who will only tell me that i will be charged with a crime if i dont pay a debt of a online loan that i never took out. Not only did i not take any loan from cash advance america or any of its affiliates, which he would not even tell which one but i didnt have a checking account in 2009. He told me i need to pay it even if i was victim of identity theft to avoid prosecution. He would not put on his supervisor and would not even tell where the money was deposited.

I haven't seen or heard from my ex-wife in 15 years, and yet I continue to get calls from all of her creditors. I'm led to believe that the different agencies that are calling are buying her account and making efforts to collect. But here's the problem, "I don't where the hell she is," and everytime I explain that to one agency another on starts calling. What are my rights? When do I get an end to the harrassing calls from all these companies? Doesn't anyone keep a history about the validity of possible related contacts.

I received a call from Powell Law Firm about a returned payment from where I stopped my account after finding out that online payday loans are illegal in my state. I sent the payday loan companies a letter by email informing them I had paid them more than the principal back and that these types of loans are illegal in my state. I received no response from them. I am now receiving calls from Powell Law Firm. I told the caller today not to call me at work, when they try calling my cell I avoid the call since I do not know the number. Now they are calling my job to verify my employment.
