My wife was told that I have an uncollected debt on a Discover card that is not ours. This is not my debt! I just called back the person who talked with my wife and she tells me that she can't look up the account by my name because there are too many people with the same name. I asked to talk to a manager and my request was denied because "the manager would just tell me the same thing". When I tell them that I will not give any additional information, the agents abrubtly end the call.As far as I know, the only information that they have is a name and my home phone number.

Hello, I took the first step in closing my bank account last week. My loan with Check Into Cash is now in default. I sent them a request to contact me only through email or standard mail and that I have all intentions of paying off the loan, but they still called my home, work and references all within 15 minutes. They said that they don't have to obey a cease/desist letter. Is this true?

Really needs to get better polcies. They care about themselves and not about their employees or customers. EEOP needs to hear about this the supervisors do what they want but when the employees need help or time or anything they only want it to benefit them.
