I received the Pennysaver newspaper in the mail yesterday (small paper w/ classified ads), and saw an add to "get fash cash! Pre-approved by phone, bad credit ok, no faxing, cash in 24 hours." Don't worry, I'm not applying for a loan, but since PDL's ARE illegal in my State, out of curiosity, I called the number. The recording gave the name as "Call for Cash hotline" (not Cash Call). Has anyone else heard about this outfit?

Good Morning.....I guess I've joined the group of foolish individuals who have gotten into the PaydayLoan Hell... I need help getting out.

I have filed bankruptcy few months back. But one of my creditors is still making collection calls. What should I do? Can't I get rid of them even after filing bankruptcy? :mad: I am sick and tired.

If a loan payment becomes delinquent, what can the lender do against the borrower so as to enforce the payment?

Does anybody know what Bankruptcy Technical Corrections Act is all about? Has it been passed?

Liberty Group LLC. (877) 731-6174 I have not been able to find any information on this company. The "real" Liberty Group LLC is out of California and does not do online payday loans. I was stricken with a neurological disorder and lost my job. The current economy caused me to lose my 401k, retirement and savings to make ends meet. Desperate, I searched for a way to provide food so we could eat. The local payday store could not help me so I "thought" they recommended this company. Things didn't seem right after a couple payments.

here is a link to some of our recent posting about bofa http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/settlement/thread89608-1.html talked to mr x today about the settlement offer he tossed out about 10 days or so ago. we have 3 accounts, 2 for me and 1 for hubby (his is the largest). he offered us 25% on all 3 accounts if we agreed by dec 30 to accept. after crunching numbers over the last 10 days, it is not possible for us to do all 3 at one time without getting 3 months behind on car payments or mortgage.

I had a loan with cash call and I believe it was charged off. Now a collection agency is suing me (3 years later) for the total amount of the loan plus interest. The original loan was $2500, I paid $1200 and am being sued for $8452. I have 2 questions. #1 - can I be sued in a different county than my residence or where the original transaction took place? #2 - I did not opt out of arbitration, so can they sue me in court? My court date is Monday, 3rd and is on the other side of the state and I will not be able to drive the 7 hours to appear. Thanks for any suggestions anyone can give me.
