I have been called 15 times in 30 minutes from this debt collector. When I did answer it I was called a --s h---s.

Unfortunately I too have been in the PDL stuff.. I currently have 5 PDLs. Cashnet USA, Integrity Advance, Eastside Lenders, Bayside Loans, SureAdvance. I have paid ALOT of money into these loans. Thanks to finding this forum I have found out alot of info!! I live in Ohio and found out "rollover" loans are illegal. I feel lost as to where to start...I have already opened a new bank account but have to wait til tomorrow to close the old one. Any advice would be greatly appriciated!

I received a phone call form a law office out of fl stating that i owed quik payday Inc. money form a loan i took out in march of 2006 i am fairly certain that it was paid in full back then but i no longer bank with the same bank and cannot prove that it was paid or not ....what are my options? I tried to get in contact with that company but they know longer have a web site and all i can find is law suits against them what should i do? I live in texas

First of all, thanks to everyone that posts on this site. The info is great, and after I found this, I knew it was my only way to get out from under my cc debt. I have over 46k in credit card debt. This is between numerous cards from these banks: hsbc, bank of america, chase, capital one, citi. I stopped paying a while back and am at about 100 days late on most of them. I ended up paying capital one, so I could work on them last, due to all the posts I read about them not settling, and suing. It's getting to be crunch time, and I have a couple questions.

Between my Wife and I, we have 4 CCs with the same company (Chase): 2 joint, and 2 individual (one mine, one wifes). We are in CA (community property). If I am going to pursue settlement, what are the chances they will settle all of them together in one lump sum settlement? Or am I going to haggle on each one separately? I'm employed with a healthy salary, but wife is not. Will that make a difference? (ie: easier to settle hers separately due to no income).

I live in Alabama and i got a letter as well. the letter basically stated it was an attempt to collect a debt. Can they garnish my wages in Alabama?

I currently reside in Iowa. I have 2 outstanding Pay Day Loans. 1st one is from Paradise - $300 and I've paid 4 "payments" of $75 each. None of which went to my principal. 2nd is from LLS America - $600 haven't made a payment yet but it will be $175 none of which goes to the principal. I contacted an orginization for help but they wanted to charge me $150 to send out letters for ACH revocations. Isn't there a way to do this on my own??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I owe $1,100.00 and have asked credit one if i can reduce my payments. They refused and I need to know will I get sued for this debt.

What is T & C is it a place that helps with payday loans?
