Do banks report to the three main credit report bureaus as well as Chexsystems. I know if it goes to collections it will report. I had an overdraft from a few months back with Woodforest. I called them and they said it is reported as charge off but that i can can repay and be able to open a new account. My question is when they say it was reported would they mean chexsystems or the 3 bureaus...i'm assuming if i can repay it to htem they didn't seel to a collection agency

hi i am having an issue with this pdl co. back in 2007 i had taken out a loan for 300.00 up till the point of closing my checking acct i have paid in total 410.00. Now, in the spring of 2008 i fell into the pdl trap i closem my checking account and put all the lenders on notice of what my intent was at the time. the rep from vc funding called me regarding my situation and i explained to her what was going on. at that point she told me that the loan would be forgiven so long as i did not take out anymore loan (till this day i have not taken out any loans).

has anyone every received phone calls where a operator is on stating "hold while I try to connect you" and after about the 3 time the operator says this - she then says "I'm sorry I could not connect your call, I will try again later" - it is a recording

I owe 27,000 to Citibank, they sent me a letter saying they would settle for 7,000 but want it in full or by 90 days which obviously if I had 7,000 I wouldn't be in this situation, the other option they gave me was $487 a month for 5 years,which was my payment before I stopped paying was $500 too much for me to pay. they said if I don't pay something by DEC 16th they will sue. I am scared and nervous.

I had a PDL through Pay Day Loan Yes... had some issues with my bank account... found this site and learned that they are not legal - sent the letter revoking the ACH did all of that. They finally contaced me today and said that since I refuse to give them a credit card number to pay over $490 for a $250 loan that I have already paid $150 that that they are marking my file as refusal to pay and sending it to collections. I stated that I am not refusing to pay... I just want the physical address of where to pay (per this forum) and have all the emails saved.

I was surprised to hear he is not a lawyer. We did start to make payments, on my husbands CPack, which should not even have any charges but what the insurance covered, 12,000, but we agreed to 25 a month to pay it off, only to discover they were taking out another 6 bucks to pocket. That could have kicked our accout out of balance had we not checked, so we have discontinnue our payments. My wife works at a factory in owensboro Ky.Here shift is 7:30-4:00. Because of kids gitting on the buss she is late about 1 to 3 mins. So she will stay at her station for that time longer and clock out 3-5 min over. On her check they take 15 min no mater if she stays over or not. In a work week they take 1.5 worked hours from her. It is around $720.00 a year they take. Is this legal,.

I have been thinking about doing this for sometime now. I certainly don't want to have to file for bankruptcy if I don't have to. I am a college student and only have 6 months left before I get my degree in Wind Energy. I hope to have a job lined up anytime now within the next 2-3 weeks. Anyways, I am in debt right around $18,000, that might be padding it a little too. I had a good job 3 years ago, but once the economy crashed I fell into debt since my only source of income was unemployment.

I am in a chapter 13 about a 1 1/2years in with 3 more to go...I live in NY. My question is: does anyone know if you are allowed to get a secured credit card? I know you are not supposed to incur any new debt while in repayment...but would like the security of using a credit card if ordering anything on line versus using my debit card...Any answers would be helpful!

I had a payday loan in December 2005 and now i keep getting a supposedly law firm with investigators callling me to collect charging over excessive fees. Isn't the statue of limitations over by now.
