Just wondering if anyone else is or has been experiencing this problem. Like a log of us in here I had a WS loan, transferred to CC, I overpaid by $1000 so I stopped paying sent all my letters and all that stuff. I had been pulling my Experian credit report where CC was reporting I was in default and blah blah blah. Well my WS/CC was transferred to Delbert. I went on to Experian and they had my CC as closed now. Delbert is not reporting. It's been like 3 months. I've disputed with Experian and I've read they are in with CC.

a collector called me last week from a restricted number finally left a message says that I owe a bill on a credit card that was opened in 2003 and closed in 2010 has not send me information and I called all 3 credit reports and there is nothing on the 3 reports with the last 4 numbers he gave me I paid a credit card we owed 8 years ago and over a year ago I paid another that we owed I was not aware about anything else in the amount he is saying I owe he has threated me with taking my wages and taking me to court yet has not send me any information don't know what to do

The letters were sent out yesterday through email and I am going to send them through US mail as well. My question is has anyone had success with either of these companies? Have they been receptive to the plan of only repaying the principle on your terms? Lastly if so on the above, how long did it take for them to answer Any further help is greatly appreciated

Hi, My mother has been receiving menacing calls from a collections agency attempting to collect on a $300 payday loan from checkNgo originally due in mid-september 2011. I want to resolve the issue but need advice on the best manner to do so. They insist that I owe them almost $2000 which I simply cannot pay back. They keep saying that a sheriff is bringing paperwork over and that they will come arrest me at work if I do not pay the money sight-unseen. I've requested documentation of the debt and they have said that they are "past that phase". What should I do? Thank you!
