Ok so I just wanted to first thank everyone on this board who has given me advice on dealing with these theives. I closed my bank account with Chase last week (after much debate they promised that the lenders would not be able to put through any charges be it ACH or check). I sent the letter to the lenders last week as well via e-mail and fax. I haven't heard a single word from them and not a single phone call. I logged into my account with them and it lists my loans as "unavailable to give more information".

At what point can a bank account be frozen? After a judgement? I hear that accounts are frozen and I want to know can a CA do this without you having been to court or getting a summons?

Hello, My husband is being sued for 20K by GE Money Loan. It's been 12 months since last payment. We had debt settlement company handle and settle all our other accounts, but GE went ahead and sued. We plan to call tomorrow, but what can we expect? Say we can reach an agreement, does that have to be paid all up front, in 3 months or spread of 36 months? Also, if something is spread out over 36 months, does that mean it will be that long before it says "debt settled" on credit report? I thought so, but you guys are the experts!!

Can a CA list an account on my credit report if they do not have a valid license to collect in my state? I sent the CA a debt vaidation letter asking for contact information for agency they claim acquired their services to collect this debt, documentation that the agency owns this account, and a valid MI license. They did not provide any of the requested information. I attempted to locate the company they stated that hired them and it appears that it does not exist; couldn't find any info for this company through BBB or doing a search on Internet.

I was told that this firm has gone bankruptby one of their clients who came to me for advice. She did not keep copies of her records / dealings with them and had given them access to her bank account. Does anyone have information about this company related to their bankruptcy? Please advise.

I have a Target card that got handed over to a law firm. They sent me a settlelment offer of 55 percent a couple of months ago and I didnt have the funds, I just got another one today for 60 percent I thought the offer would get better not worse!!!! Any advice, is this normal???? SO NOW THEY WANT MORE MONEY THAN BEFORE!!!

I have filed for bankruptcy and need the address to qxlonline.com to add it to my file but they will not give me an address and I've googled it and haven't found a thing. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to?

I got a call from some guy saving he was going to serve me a summons, but I had one last chance to work with them. The number he gave me was 1-877-337-9236. I called and it was a recording for a lawyer Anthony H Rodriguez. I had several payday loans I didn't pay so not sure which one it would be. Has anyone else had any dealings with these people? I have no clue what I should do about them.

Hello, I too am in a financial strain with Pay Day loans, but my question is about Pay Day Loan Helpers. I've spoken to a company who basically works for a law firm and I was told they could consolidate my 4 pay day loans in the amount of $2,000 + and I would be able to pay them on on a monthly income for 6 months? How true are these companies and do the help? Thanks for your help.
