PRESSLER & PRESSLER. Came to my house & till this day keep harassing me, regarding a debt they claim I owe but now look at how professional these people are. The wouldn't tell me exactly who I owe. I don't know how this is allowed but they withdrew the so called debt from my husbands checking account ($230.00).

My husband was served with court papers a few months back saying that he was being sued by a credit card company. He than filed an answer and was given a court date for arbitration which he went to and the arbitrator ruled in the creditors favor. Needless to say there is now a judgement against my husband. My question is what means can they use to satisfy the judgement. My husband is unemployed and has no bank account nor does he own any property. Please help. Thanks

I am being harrassed by these people. They call from different numbers and are very rude telling me they filed in court and to be home at a certain time so they can serve me. I live in Maryland, is this legal?

So I was served papers for a CC debt from a few yrs ago. I honestly forgot to go to the court appearances 2x's to "Prove up". Anyway made it the 3rd time. I was called to up to the Judge. He says your being sued from midland funding for 1900. I say, OK and ????? He was very nice but I am like so what do you want ? (not in those words) He asks me do you have an answer ? I was like a answer to what ? What am I supposed to say ? So then the bailiff ran up with a paper saying Judge he needs to fill out an answer and turn it in. I read it am like WTH does this mean.

I was wondering if someone could tell if my two payday loans are legal or not. I live in Ohio and took them out online. The first one was from payday mobility I borrowed 300 from them and paved back 500 and still owe 187. 2nd one is from Magnum cash advance I borrowed 400 from them and have payer back 339 and still owe 339. Hi Everyone, I have been reading the forums for a while and finally decided to register and post my info. I have several online payday loans outstanding. Some are legal, and others I'm not so sure about. I have often heard on here that loan companies from offshore/tribal are never legal. Does this also pertain to Louisiana? The law here states that online lenders do not need to be licensed, but DO need to follow state laws regarding terms, fees etc. If these offshore companies are illegal in other states, would they be illegal here as well? How can I be sure?
