i just recive a phone call from Todd somebody at zwicker i have made payments on my discover and i had a return on one of my checks now they want the bal in full by the end of the mont i told i dont think i can have it by then. so he goes into this shpeil about how i had all these returns on my account so i had to correct him and told him i had one and payed double on that account. so then he asked me to borrow the money from someone. I said "yeah well that is how i got in the mess in the first place, so he goes well let me see what i can do and i will call you tomorrow.

I have 3 online payday loans. First is through United Cash Loans for $300 ( have not paid them); Second is Ameriloan for $300 ( have not paid them); Third is QXL Online for $200 ( paid them $156). I live in Arkansas, are these legal in my state? What should I do?

After discovering this, I notified the company that I had actually overpaid my debt by about $90, with renewals, but was willing to waive a refund in exchange for marking the debt paid in full.

I've been looking for a few weeks now and I'm unable to find any legit lenders for bad credit/high risk borrowers. My credit score is just shy of being able to use prosper.com or a similar p2p lending, so I'm kind of stuck. Anyone know of any legit lenders?

My husband and I have both received calls from First National attempting to collect on debts that are not ours. As far as we can tell, they are calling random people with the same name as the people they are actually attempting to collect from. They repeatedly ask us to provide the last 4 digits of our social security numbers in order for us to "prove" to them that we are not the responsible parties. We have not done this (what makes them think we would be truthful about it anyway, I wonder). What can or should we do to stop them calling us when we are not the ones that incurred the debts?

Hello everyone, I need some answers about Payday One. I reside in South Carolina by the way. I recently was approved for a $650(an amount I did not choose) loan with PDO, my payments are $131.32 bi-weekly. For my first payment I gave them $350 towards my principle, so instead of having 15 scheduled payments I now have 4, which is great, but I'm a bit confused about their practices. I came across this website a few days ago while doing research on this company and payday lending laws of this state. I see that they may be or are a CSO. So what does this mean?

I have been working with Philadelphia Federal Credit Union for many years, and a few years ago they sold their credit services to FIA Credit Services (actually B of A). The rationale was that PFCU gave me notice and they expected me to have the knowledge about what it is I was getting into. I have contacted them repeatedly about my annoyance at being tied to a financial shark. I had a bad patch last year with a series of events that make me have difficulty paying my bills, and at one point I could not afford to eat and still paid FIA their blood money.
