We got a letter from Chase today stating our loan modification request had been rejected because they didn't receive all the required documentation. We have been working with an agency to help us obtain the loan mod - will be contacting them on Monday to find out what options we have but was wondering if anyone on this forum knew if we could re-apply? I am more than a little confused at this point. I have about $35,000 in debt. Maybe $20,000 of that was racked up in internet gambling. I planned on getting a nice job out of grad school and paying this off, but the economy sucks.

I had a Chapter 7 personal bankruptcy last year with a full discharge. I included every creditor, but I did reaffirm my car loan. I noticed on my recent credit report there were 4 creditors included in the BK, but they showed as, "Charge Off" instead of "Included in Bankruptcy". I filed a dispute with Equifax a few weeks ago and 3 were fixed and my credit score went from 598 to 620. But Chase filed that my card was a Charge Off and it ended up staying on the credit report.

Last week i too received a phone call from Nelson Hirsch & Associates #(678-593-2340) asking for my husband. When i told them he wasn't here and asked if I could take a message, they proceeded to tell me there was a fraud case pending against my husband, from a Pay Day Loan that he took out Sept. 2005 for $800, plus more now due to legal fees, and that he needed to contact him that day or they would proceed with the case.

I just found out from my bank (Wachovia) how to request ACH debits to cease - i filled out the necessary paperwork and requested them to be stopped - i hope it works. I have 4 outstanding pdl's and have had no luck getting any of them to talk to me. i have one with Integrity advance as well, balance finally down to 100.00 - after paying over 1200.00 for a $400.00 loan - i told them i wasn't paying the final 100.00 and they keep trying to debit my account - always before payday so my account gets overdrawn.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone can help me. Heres the story, I had an oral surgery bill that I was not aware of. Years later I had to get an extraction and was refered to the same place. They said I owed a past due amount and needed to pay it immediately before they would give me an appointment, so of course, since I did owe it I paid it. Now after reviewing my credit report, I see there is a Collection Agency reporting this account, as either "Payment After Charge Off/Collection" or on other reports as paid.

I live in Ohio and I received a letter from the courthouse wanting me to respond to a court summons for a loan i took out last year (i didnt pay it because i was totally broke and i had like 6 more loans out and i just couldnt afford it anymore). The loan amount is $400.00 and they want a respond by May 18th (next Tuesday).I took the loan out @ Cashland. How do i respond (format and what to say), should i respond or not ? whats going to happen. ? FYI- I'm filing for bankruptcy in the next couple of months. Hello, I have a very simple question. When an ACH account is put on freeze are deposits allowed to go into the account? While looking at my account, there was a freeze put on ACH but after a deposit went in same day, could this just be because it happened before the freeze? Or is there indeed a possibility that the deposit went in after the freeze? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
