I believe our traffic is way down because people cannot figure out how to post a new thread. Lets face it,m "Ask an Expert" does not translate to "post a thread". Yes there are tutorials but quite frankly, if I went to a new site, it I had to site thru video tutorial to ask I question, I would quickly be moving on. Weekly I get 3-4 PMs from people who cannot figure out how to post. This needs to be simplified..quickly.

OK - I have some old collections showing up on my credit report I want to get rid of - what is the best approach to make sure these get off my credit report and increase my score

I am trying to figure out if these payday loan lenders are legal in the state of SD. These are the four lenders I have pdl's out with: Advance Me Today-500 Plain Green Loans-700 Cash Jar- 575 Speedy Cash-500 I am pretty sure that Speedy Cash is legal but I am not sure on the other three. I know that the laws in SD state that pdl's are supposed to be a max of $500. I have closed my checking account and got a new acct number and I also have stop payments on all these lenders. Wondering where to go from here and most concerned that they are going to start contacting me at work.

I got this email today from My Money Chest. I tried looking them up under the California Department of Business oversight to see if they had a license in california. I couldn't find it so I sent an email to My money chest asking for their information and this is what they sent me. The customer service department does not lend to states where pay day lending is illegal.
