Hi All, I am trying to find out some information for a friend who banks at what used to be Nat City and is now PNC. She has been trying to get someone to put a hard debit block on her account and they refuse. Has anyone had any luck with PNC in getting this done? She has no other way to stop her online loans from going thru as PNC said that all they can do is let them come through and she will have to pay the NSF. They said even closing the account would do no good as ACH's will reopen it.

I am getting annoying phone calls EVERY DAY from a check advance business that a friend used and added me as a contact (without my authorization) for her account. They have called me every business day they are open for the past month. I have asked them to stop calling my number, but everytime they just say "Well, please give her our message and have a nice day", and the next day they call back. How can I make them stop? It's not even my debt.

I asked a debt collector to provide proof that they were assigned my account by the person who provided service to me. They responded by saying we sent a notice demanding payment and I "know" they are legitimate. What constitutes proof that they have been assigned my account?
