Does anybody have a link to the new PDL laws just passed in KY? I read somewhere on the forum that Ky passed a law stating that anyone who took out an internet PDL PRIOR to 01-01-2010 was not even obligated to repay the principal due to the fact that these companies are all illegal. Also does anybody have a link to the KY Dept of Finance? My acct is closed, & all these thieves have been sent C& D emails. So far, so good. There IS hope, guys!!!

I just received a letter from Midland Credit Management, they claim that I owe Citibank $530.94. The only Citibank account I have ever had was closed way back in 1995 and it was paid in full. Any suggestions on what I can do, I have disputed this to no avail. Thanks, Vicki

Hey :) I asked this on a few more blog related webpages but nobody really helped.. I have a problem, I started a blog awhile ago but life got in the way so I never had time to devote to it as much as I would like.. I have a bit of time today and I noticed that adsense is running payday loan ads on my page!! We all know how much I despise payday loans, especially internet ones and there is no way I want my page to advertise them! Is there anyway to block this? I tried to look on google's page and other forums and I seriously do not know how to do this.

Long story short, we got in some serious financial difficulties a few years back and couldn't pay our credit cards. Consulted a Bankruptcy lawyer and he stated we were not good candidates for bankrupcty at that time. He instructed us not to pay our cards. That was nearly 3 years ago. Our situation really hasn't changed very much, still struggling to make mortgage and car payments. Not enough left over to pay this past due credit cards. We have been getting harrassing phone calls and letters constantly.

There is an entry on my credit report posted/reported by National Recovery, collecting for Collectibles Today, for $205.00. I did not buy anything from Collectibles Today and have never signed up for an account with them. They don't even know my social security number!! National Recovery just popped up on my report. Has anyone else delt with this company or problem? thanks
