A friend of mine has a brother who owes around $7,000 in credit card debt and another $35,000 in student loans. His brother honestly thinks that as long as he does not work ( he is unemployed and has been for about the last 4 years), and continues to have nothing in his name, then the collectors have 0 options as far as coming after him. His birth certificate and his social security number is all that exists on this clown. He says that even if they try and sue him, no judge can make him get a job, as it is not illegal to be unemployed. At the risk of sounding dumb, is he correct?
