ONLINE ADVANCE - HELP

11 years 11 months ago
ADVICE regarding Online Advance out of Delaware. I have over paid by about $300 on the principal loan. I stopped the ACH and sent my letter. I have been contacted by their debt collection department. She says nothing in my letter applies to them as they are not a Pay Day Loan Company? It was an internet loan and they do not have a license for lending in the State of California. Next step? Thanks!

I sent my letter, have way overpaid principal on previous loan and would cover this principal! How should I respond to this reply?: am responding to your email regarding your outstanding loan with Sure Advance. Sure Advance is a company in good standing in the State of Delaware and a fully-licensed Delaware lender. Sure Advance does not do business in South Carolina, but did make an installment loan to you pursuant to your request made in Delaware via the Internet. The transaction is legal and compliant under Delaware law.

Need help with CashCall and other PDL's

11 years 11 months ago
Hi. I live in Michigan and took out a loan with Western Sky in March of 2013 for $2500.00. They immediately transferred my loan to CashCall. I paid one payment of 253.50 on April 1st. I sent them a letter stating that their company was not a licensed lender for the State of Michigan and that I was willing to pay back the debt just not the high interest rate.

How does one go about dealing with online PayDay lender legally licensed in your state?

11 years 11 months ago
Hi all, I've been browsing these forums for a while. I live in the state of Alabama. So far, everything I've read pertains to dealing with illegal payday loans, however, I am in debt with some online payday loans that are legally licensed to lend in my state, I've already done the research. My question is, can I still close my bank account, and offer to pay back the principal + interest in payments without any repercussions? Any help would be great, thanks!

How should I respond to them, illegal in sc While the information you received IS correct for payday companies operating within the United States, we are in Nevis. You came to our website, which is located in Nevis, and which legally constitutes you as having taken the loan in Nevis and subject to the laws of Nevis and Saint Christopher as detailed in the first line of the loan agreement. Any good attorney can confirm this for you. Because we are not a U.S.

need help with a few PDL's

11 years 11 months ago
Hi There! I have been using this site for a few weeks and thought I would go ahead and ask for some help. So, have multiple PDL's...have to stop the madness and am taking out a loan from my bank to pay the LEGAL companies and I am finding out that all but two are NOT LEGAL. I have paid one company 13 roll-overs for a $300 loan at $79 each and wrote them and told them I was done... Anyways, here I live in the State of Wisconin and can't seem to determine if 1 or 2 roll-overs are legal here.
