What will happen if you get a very small payday loan to help with bills before your BK has been concluded if you will be able to pay it back in full? 2. Is your checking accounts monitored in a Chapter 13 bankruptcy? 3. I was told that I would have to pay a fee to the trustee before getting any new credit. Does this apply to things like a home phone or internet?

My spouse and I have over $40k in credit card debt. We stopped using our cards almost 2 years ago, we are not behind on payments, and our interest rates are generally under 16%. We are paying our bills, but making very little headway toward paying things off. I would like to consolidate, but it seems like no one can help us because we are current on our payments. Can anyone help us consolidate so we can pay this debt off instead of just making endless payments?

I was sued in small claims court and the person that sued me won. However the next day he emailed me and went to the courthouse requesting the judge lower the amount he sued me for to $1.oo, that he did not want the money from me but rather to prove his point so to speak, I paid him with a check for the $1.00 the very next day, then two months later he goes back the justice of the peace and states he wants to accept the original verdict and then almost a month later send me a registered letter stating he decided he wants his money and that I have till the end of December to pay him.

Hi community, I owe a credit card company $635.00. My credit limit was $300 when I got the card. Due to hardship was not able to pay. Now want to settle for the $300.00 what is my next step can someone help me. I would like the negative information off my credit report and not be sued for the rest later. Thanks in advance

I just got left a message on my work voice mail from an "Investigator Martinez" at 770-733-7182 who said if I didn't call back immediately, he would have no choice but put out a warrant for my arrest. This is a Georgia phone number and I am in North Carolina. How stupid do they think I am? If there were some outstanding law violation, what agency would conduct business in this manner? This is almost certainly something to do with years old pay day loan issues. Should I even bother calling these clowns back?

I really need to find out who is legal and who are not. From what I've been reading Eastside and Zip19 are not are there others? Payday one and Advance America seems to be a CSO.

I think something happened to my other thread - so I apologize if this is a double post. We received our settlement letter from Juniper/Barclay's, and it is quite different from our phone conversation yesterday. It states that it is a lump sum payment, when the rep said it would be broken into 3 payments. It says that they will report it as "settled in full" and that I will be "pleased to know that your payment will be applied entirely to the loan principal, rather than first paying the accumulated interest.

I have a feeling that "Debtlander" who is posting silliness all over the place is "Sunil" who got banned. This Debtlander is posting all over and it looks like it is just for points. I'm just saying.........
