I am writing because my fiance and I need HELP! Noone gives you a straight answer. My fiance has a really good job, and with that he decided about 4 years ago to by some rental properties fix them up and rent them out. Great idea right? well Wrong! We did not have good tenants and it costed lots of money to fix them up after each tenant and also paying the morgage without rent coming in. Lots of Credit card debt incurred and now its making life very challenging, and he can not do it anymore. He is letting the houses go back, we are trying to sell them but in this market not going so good.

Has anyone heard of Everest Debt Solustions? Are they legit? Any option would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok, so this is the 2nd time they have threatened me with this. I know I shouldn't be concerened but it still freaks me out. I revoked the wage assignment and sent one to my payroll department so I should be good, right? Is there anything I missed? I sure wish I could nail them for making all these false threats, ie, the garnishments, the threats to reports me to SCAN, and them being able to affect my ability to write checks. I wish I had never gotten messed up with these clowns!!!

I have been paying this office for my cc debt but I am going through a difficult time now and can't pay this month. They are now threating with not continuing with my montly payment aggreement because I am defulting this month and that I will be sent a bill for the full amt. Also is it too late to request a DV.. I did not know about that till today. Can I asked them for that and a DC until I get the info?

So I'm looking over my credit reports and see an account being reported by NCO that was paid off over a year ago. I call them and they tell me they have absolutely no record of that account at all, so I guess I'm going to have to fax them that portion of my CR. She does tell me though that they have a file on my from Sprint that was returned to the original creditor and she would remove that from my file. I haven't had a Sprint phone in over 4 years, and had completely forgotten about it and not heard one single thing about it.

Or lack there of. I have been able to get my credit report from Transunion and Experian on line. I have tried several different times to try to get one from Equifax and today when it finally let me get to the request page, I get this note that pops up and says I can't access this, there has been a possible credit freeze on my account, and they want me to send all this information I'm not comfortable sending in the mail to request one that way, and also I will need this 10 digit number they gave me for the freeze.

How long does it take to qualify for a car after debt settlement, does it take the 5-7 years its on your credit report?

There is a Law office of John P Frye.. they are charging me for an acct they got from a bank. I have so far paid about half of my debt so far but this month I had situations that has prevented me from paying my monthly payment. I had informed them that I will pay half of what I pay a month and next month pay what I normally pay and the other half of this month payment. They state that I am defulting on my payment and that if I do that they will send me a letter stating I have to pay my full balance. I tried to explain my situation but they will not buge.

can payday loan companies garnish your wages without a court order?
