I am starting to get calls from United Legal again. They are calling through an 800 number now. When I looked it up on the Internet, it looks like other people have reported it as being them. The calls stopped for about five months and then started up again. When I looked up the 800 number, there were posts on there from people who said you need to report them to the FBI and Secret Service if you get calls. Has anyone on here done that and do you think it does any good? I have not talked to them as I have always been told on here to ignore them.

I received a call today from this collection agency regarding a PDL from over a year ago. They had so much wrong information I had to stifle a laugh...my last name is wrong because I got married, I give them that. But the PO Box is over 2 years old, and the bank account has been closed for at least 8 months because when I got married I went on my hubby's account. Anyway, the guy sounded like he was reading something scripted. He told me he didn't know who the original lender was, just that it was done online and that once the money was deposited they never got anything paid.

should i keep making payments to regent assett management or not? it sounds like they are not legit....they have never sent me any documentation except for an attornys letter from someone in CA? i have been making payments to them for the last 3 months wit a pre-paid debit card because i did not want them to have my bank info....

I'm slowly building up my credit from the depths of hell. Over the past six months I've opened a secure credit card and actually been approved for a 1500 dollar mastercard. But I'm looking for a card with a bigger credit limit. When applying for new credit should I make sure to have all of my other balances paid in full? (Will this look better when they pull my credit reports?) Also Capital One just sent me an application by mail with a registry number and another promo code. Is this just junk mail or are my chances pretty good of getting credit with them?

Has anyone ever heard fo a company called blackcardloan.com I got an unauthorized deposit from them. I did fill out the paperwork, never e-signed it, and they called me the next day(on a saturday). They said they needed to do a conference call with my bank, to verify the last three deposit amounts and positive balance. They somehow got into an automated system and asked me to put in my account number. I did a fake one as to fail it, and they said do you have another account number. I lied and said there mus be a system problem, and please call me another time. I am NOT authorizing anything.

I recently sent a certified letter to a car dealership because I have an inquiry on my credit report from the dealership Well, today, I received a letter from the dealership that they will need me to prove they made the inquiry. What? Are you kidding me? Do I have to provide them with a copy of my credit report, proof of the date the inquiry was made, or any other BS they mentioned in their letter? Last week, I received a letter from Encore regarding my GEMB account, and I sent them a DV CMRRR. I just got the green card back, so they received that. I'm not answering my phone for every call. We call the OC's back about once a month (it's really all I can handle). This week, I received another letter from Encore for FIA Card Services, which I am assuming is for BOA.

ok, so there is a note on my door fomr a deputy sheriff asking me to call him in regards to a legal matter? Could this be a summons?

Had a payday loan from them, defaulted due to hard times almst 24 months ago; now they have called my job.I would send a no contact letter but I need the address. Does anyone know of it
